What we offer

At the Torslanda factory, production is divided into five areas: body, painting, assembly, mega casting, and battery assembly. We are currently building a state-of-the-art battery assembly facility expected to be completed in early 2026. This means a dynamic workplace with significant technological advancements and challenges that require dedicated Maintenance Technicians.

In this role, you will be involved in starting up a completely new factory. During the construction phase, the work will be varied. You may work on machine installations, write maintenance instructions, and collaborate closely with our sub-projects to ensure everything is progressing. Before the factory goes into full operation, you will receive training on the machines to be used in our factory. Initially, working hours will be during the day, but over time it will transition to four-shift or straight shift (day, evening, or night).

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work to ensure the operational reliability of our production equipment through both corrective and preventive maintenance. Your tasks include investigating technical disruptions and carrying out modifications and improvements on production equipment. You will work closely with production and collaborate with various networks within the organization as well as with external suppliers.

The highly automated production equipment in battery assembly includes PLC systems, robots, painting equipment, lasers, transport systems, tuggers, and custom mechanics. You will work with many different types of equipment, which means a varied and interesting workday.

Qualifications and personal attributes

We are looking for someone with a high school education in industrial automation/electrical control or mechanics/hydraulics, as well as theoretical electrical competence (equivalent to general authorization). You should have practical experience in maintenance work within electrical/IT, industrial automation, or workshop work.

• A driving license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are required.
• You should be comfortable working with computers, both software and hardware.
• Knowledge of PLC and robot programming, as well as experience with the maintenance system Maximo, is an advantage.
• We also value knowledge of production and maintenance processes.
